Back to Basics Tutoring provides individualized tutoring services for children including:
- evaluation and recognizing unique learning difference
- developing tailored lesson plans
- one-on-one tutoring in reading and associated skills
- incorporating creative techniques that are purposeful and fun
The parents of children with learning differences can become concerned and frustrated. I support and assist them with:
- advice and direction for parents
- classroom observation
- mediating between school and parents
All students can learn to read by optimizing their particular learning style such as visualizing, hearing, verbalizing, touching and performing. I implement an individual plan for each child and apply what works best for them. My Orton-Gillingham and experience affords me the ability to successfully achieve goals to help your child’s reading progress.
